In June 2024 Calitec Heat Pump Hot Water Systems introduced their latest Water Heater WH-70 at BuildNZ, the largest expo for New Zealand's building and trades industry. The new heat pump water heater, which utilizes R290 refrigerant, positions it as one of the market's most eco-friendly systems. Check out this video:

Designed for NZ environment & Future proof

Designed in New Zealand for family homes, the Calitec Mono Block WH-70 boasts high heating capacity, resulting in faster recovery times. Made with the best available parts and materials to withstand the harsh NZ environment, this future-proof system utilizes R290

refrigerant and is PV solar smart inverter ready. Plus, it’s capable of heating two separate hot water cylinders!

The WH-70 can be paired with a stainless steel Calitec hot water cylinder, specifically designed for optimal usage, or can be connected to a different heat pump ready hot water cylinder (to be confirmed by plumber).
