Calitec is a proudly New Zealand owned and operated company, based in Whangarei, Northland. We operate nationwide, collaborating directly with plumbers, heat pump installers, electricians, and builders to ensure that our customers and installers receive the best advice and service possible.

Our mission is to provide innovative and sustainable solutions, based on heat pump technology for New Zealanders. We strongly believe in long-lasting, high-quality products at a fair price. We value the feedback of our customers and installers, constantly striving to improve our products based on their input.

 

After running a Northland HVAC business for many years, Calitec Hot Water Systems Ltd was established in 2017 by Peter and Gwen Ras, originally from the Netherlands. More than 17 years ago they moved with their family to Whangarei, Northland.

Peter has extensive experience in the building, plumbing and installation industry. Over the years, he has come to be an absolute specialist in the field of heat pump technology and has a huge passion for eco friendly and energy efficient solutions.
