Calitec is a proudly New Zealand owned and operated company, based in Whangarei, Northland. Our mission is to provide innovative and sustainable solutions, based on heat pump technology for New Zealanders.

We have brought overseas technology here to New Zealand to help solve pain points for home owners, developers, architects and builders. We believe our systems and products fit perfectly with Kiwi families and the New Zealand environment.

 

After running a Northland HVAC business for many years, Calitec Hot Water Systems Ltd was established in 2017 by Peter and Gwen Ras, originally from the Netherlands. More than 15 years ago they moved with their family to Whangarei, Northland.

Peter has extensive experience in the building and installation industry. Over the years, he has come to be an absolute specialist in the field of heat pump technology and has a huge passion for eco friendly and energy efficient solutions.
